Crochet Pattern: Dahlia

“If you observe a really happy man you will find him building a boat, writing a symphony, educating his son, growing double dahlias in his garden.” W. Beran Wolfe

The dahlia is named after the Swedish 18th-century botanist Anders Dahl. They are native to Mexico and South America and are the official flower Seattle.

This pattern is worked in the round and I use abbreviations according to US crochet language. The finished dahlia is approximately 4.25” (11cm) in diameter. This flower would be beautiful as a floral display.

This pattern is featured in my English Country Garden Book 1 ebook.

All my patterns are available to purchase as PDF files from my Etsy shop and from Ravelry. They are also available for the Kindle on Amazon.
