Crochet Pattern: Cosmos

Cosmos is native to Mexico and Spanish priests grew the flower in their mission gardens. As the petals are evenly placed they decided to name the flower “Cosmos” which is the Greek word for harmony or ordered universe.

The Cosmos atrosanguinea gives off a sweet aroma of vanilla tinged chocolate!

This pattern is worked in the round and I use abbreviations according to US crochet language. The finished cosmos flower is approximately 2.75” (7cm) in diameter. This flower would be beautiful as a floral display.

This pattern is featured in my English Country Garden Book 1 ebook.

All my patterns are available to purchase as PDF files from my Etsy shop and from Ravelry. They are also available for the Kindle on Amazon.
