This pattern is worked in rows and I use abbreviations according to US crochet language. The finished rose is approximately 2.75” (7cm) in diameter. This flower would be beautiful as a brooch or hair fascinator.

Tools Needed:

scissors
yarn needle

Yarn Needed:
DK acrylic yarn in any colour of your choice.
(Colours shown are: foxglove pink, lavender and lemon yellow.)

Abbreviations:

hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
tr = treble crochet
sl st = slipstitch

Pattern:
Make a slipknot and ch 61.

R1 - sc in second ch from hook and 59 sc. (60 sts)

R2 – Turn and ch 4.
2 tr in same space, [3 tr in next ch] x 19, [3 dc in next ch] x 16,
