Difficulty Rating:

This pattern is worked in the round and I use abbreviations according to UK crochet language. The finished poppy flower is 8.5cm (3.25”) in diameter and the leaf is 9cm (3.5”) in length.

Tools needed: 3.5mm (US size E) crochet hook, scissors, yarn needle and PVA glue.

Yarn needed: DK acrylic yarn in red (approx. 10g), black (1g), cream (1g) and green (2g).

Other materials needed: wooden skewer (approx. 3mm diameter and 25cm length).
